At Uptimum Tech Solutions, we’re committed to providing reliable, affordable, and quality-checked new or refurbished electronics to every customer. Since refurbished and pre-owned products naturally differ from brand-new ones, we aim to maintain complete transparency about what to expect and how returns are handled.
Our 14-day return policy is designed to ensure customer protection in cases of genuine product issues, while also maintaining fairness and sustainability in the refurbished electronics ecosystem.
Understanding Refurbished Products
All products sold on www.uptimum.in are either new or professionally refurbished or used devices that undergo thorough testing and quality checks before being listed. Every item is verified for functionality and meets the specifications mentioned in the respective product listing.
However, as the refurbished products are not brand-new products, they may carry visible signs of prior use, such as:
- Light scratches or marks on the body
- Slight dents or faded keys
- Original but used batteries (battery backup of 1 hour or more)
- Non-original or compatible accessories (chargers, cables, etc.)
- Minor cosmetic wear consistent with refurbishment
These cosmetic elements are normal and do not affect performance or usability. Hence, they are not eligible reasons for return or refund. We strongly encourage buyers to read the product description carefully and understand the difference between refurbished and new items before placing an order.
Damage Reporting Timeframe:
If you're returning a device due to damage/physical condition issues, you must report the issues within 24 hours of delivery along with unboxing video of purchased device.
Returns Are Accepted Within 14 Days for the Following Issues:
Uptimum Tech Solutions will accept return requests only if one or more of the following conditions are met:
- The product is non-functional or not working as promised in the description.
- There is a hardware defect or major issue affecting usage (e.g., screen not turning on, keyboard not working, etc.).
- The delivered product has incorrect configuration compared to listing, such as:
- Wrong RAM or storage capacity
- Wrong processor variant (e.g., i5 instead of i7)
- Incorrect or missing components that were mentioned in the listing
All return requests must be raised within 14 calendar days of delivery. Photo or video proof clearly showing the issue is mandatory for evaluation.

Returns Will Not Be Accepted for the Following:
- Processor clock speed differences if the model matches listing.
- Installed Windows version or MS Office license variation (unless explicitly mentioned in description).
- Battery backup of minimum of 1 hour on video playback, which meets our refurbishment standard.
- Minor cosmetic wear, slightly faded keyboard, stickers, or light scratches on base.
- Missing non-listed accessories or packaging.
- Orders below ₹1000.
- Clearance Sale or Sample Sale items.
- Orders placed with Discount Coupons or Referral Codes.
- Buyer’s remorse, preference, or software incompatibility.
- Used products marked as “Used – Sold As Is”.
- Return/refund requests will not be processed if the device seal is found to be broken or tampered with at the time of return.
Return on Accessories
For accessories, replacements are offered within 14 days of delivery in applicable cases (defect, mismatch, or damage).
- Returns are not accepted once the box seal or tag is removed, unless the product is faulty.
- If the replacement received is also not as described, a full refund or store credit may be offered.
- Buyer must ship back the item within 14 days after support team approval.
- Products must be returned in the same condition as delivered; tampered or incomplete items will be rejected.
Refund & Deductions Policy
If your product is eligible and passes inspection:
- Refunds are processed within 7–15 business days via the original payment method.
- 5% of the order value is deducted as payment gateway and processing charges (for functional returns based on preference, not defects). Partial payment made against COD order is non refundable in case the customer refuses to accept or cancel the order before delivery.
- Shipping, packaging, and handling costs are non-refundable.
- Refund amount may be adjusted for any missing or damaged components.
- Alternatively, customers can choose 100% store credit for future purchases (no deductions applied).
Refund Timeline
Once your return is received and approved, refunds are typically processed within 7–15 business days, depending on your payment method.

Why These Deductions Exist
Refurbished products are already offered at deeply discounted prices compared to market rates. The 5% deduction simply covers unavoidable third-party costs like payment gateway fees and logistics. Unlike large e-commerce platforms that inflate prices by 30-40% to include “free returns,” we maintain fair pricing upfront.
Return Process – Step by Step
- Submit your return or exchange form within 14 days of delivery.
- Attach clear photo/video evidence showing the issue.
- Wait for our support team to verify and approve your request.
- You’ll receive return or pickup instructions after approval.
- Ship the product securely in its original packaging.
- Once inspected, your refund or replacement will be processed.
Order Cancellation Policy
Order cancellations are accepted only before dispatch. Once an order has been packed or shipped, it cannot be cancelled. If you wish to cancel your order, please contact our support team immediately before dispatch confirmation.
Cancellations made after dispatch will not be entertained and will instead fall under the Return Policy terms.
Important Notes
- Refunds will be made only through the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
- Requests made via social media DMs will not be accepted due to high message volume.
- Claims made after 14 days of delivery will not be eligible under this policy.
- Uptimum Tech Solutions reserves the right to reject any return that does not meet the terms mentioned above.

Cash On Delivery Policy
Availability:COD option is available only for products under 40000 in value and selective locations.
Discounts: No discounts on COD products are available. The company will strictly not entertain any discount requests for COD.
Advance shipping charges: The customer is required to pay 5% advance payment of total order value as shipping charges on the payment gateway. This ensures smoother processing and helps cover delivery cost.
Payment: For 5% shipping charges, the company accepts online payment methods. For the remaining COD amount ,The customer is required to pay the remaining amount to the delivery executive upon receiving the product.
Order confirmation:The customer's order will be confirmed only after successful verification of the shipping address and availability of the product.
Reserved Charges: An amount of 5% order value is reserved as COD charges and the company is liable to claim the same against the customer who violate the terms of services which are refusal to accept the package at the time of delivery or failure to make the full payment against the pending amount.

Return policy: If the customer is not satisfied with the product, it can be returned within a specified time frame of 7 Days. The pickup will be issued by Uptimum Tech Solutions.
Acceptance of terms: By choosing the COD option, the customer agrees to abide by the above terms and conditions.
Can a customer refuse to pay and receive for a COD order?
Yes, but the only valid reason to refuse to receive and pay for a COD order is for wrong products or damaged product/s delivered (i.e. orders delivered are not what was actually ordered). In this case, kindly inform the delivery executive of the reason for refusing to receive and pay so that the order can be returned to us quickly for immediate remedying.
Any other reason for refusing a COD order (including false allegations of the wrong Product/s delivered) will constitute a serious violation of the terms of use of our COD service. A simple change of mind will not be honored, We reserve the right to refuse further services to customers who violate the terms of use of any of our services.
Changes in terms: The company reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
Dispute resolution: Any disputes arising from the COD transactions will be resolved in accordance with the applicable laws.
